How to schedule anything in ChatGPT

ChatGPT can now help you schedule reminders, recurring tasks, reports, and alerts directly inside your chat. You only need to write what you want, tell ChatGPT when to do it, and it can send you a notification when the task is ready.

Step 1: Open the Scheduled Section

Go to ChatGPT and open the sidebar, and click the Scheduled section.

Step 2: Write Your Task Prompt

Type what you want ChatGPT to schedule and include clear details so it knows exactly when to notify you.

“Alert me whenever Nvidia, Tesla, or Apple announce major AI-related news. Only notify me for important updates such as new AI products, partnerships, model releases, chips, acquisitions, or major business moves. Keep the alert short and explain why it matters.”

Step 3: Check the Task Confirmation

After the task is created, check the confirmation message and make sure the schedule looks correct.
