How to Virtually Try On Clothes with ChatGPT
ChatGPT can help you find clothes and accessories, then show you how they might look on you before you decide to buy them.
Step 1: Find Clothes in ChatGPT
Open ChatGPT and search for the clothing or accessory you want to try.
For example:
Help me shop for stylish men’s medium wash denim jackets under $120. Show me options I can virtually try on.
Browse the product results and choose an item you like.
Step 2: Select Try On
Hover over the product and click Try on when the option appears.
ChatGPT will ask you to choose or upload a reference photo before creating the preview.
Step 3: Upload Your Photo
Upload a clear selfie or full body photo of yourself.
ChatGPT will generate an image showing how the selected clothing or accessory might look on you.
Your reference photo can also be reused for future try ons.
Step 4: Save Your Favorite Products
Hover over an item and click the bookmark icon to save it to your Favorites.
You can find your saved products later in the ChatGPT Library and manage your try on photo from Settings → Personalization → Reference photos.
You can also upload a picture of clothing you find elsewhere and ask ChatGPT to show how it might look on you, making it easier to explore and compare different outfits before buying.
Note: Virtual try ons are visual previews and may not show the exact size, fit, color, or appearance of the real product.
