How to turn any topic into an explainer video with NotebookLM

Step 1: Open NotebookLM

Go to NotebookLM in your browser and log in to your account.

Step 2: Create a new notebook and enter your topic

Click Create new notebook on the home screen.

Enter your topic in the prompt box, then select Deep Research.

NotebookLM will automatically gather, analyze, and structure relevant information for you.

Step 3: Generate the Video Overview

Once the Deep Research is complete, go to the Studio panel and click Video Overview.

You can then choose the style and language you want for the video. After that, click Generate.

NotebookLM will turn the researched information into a clear, structured explainer video for your topic. It may take a little time to finish generating.
