How to Verify if an Image Was Generated with ChatGpt

AI images are everywhere now. This OpenAI tool helps you check whether an image was created using OpenAI’s AI models before you trust or share it.

Step 1: Open OpenAI’s image verification tool

Go to OpenAI’s image verification page:

https://openai.com/research/verify/

Step 2: Upload the image you want to verify

Upload the image you want to check.

The tool will analyze the image for embedded signals, including C2PA metadata and a SynthID watermark.

Step 3: Review the result

After the scan is complete, the tool will show whether the image was created using OpenAI AI models, or if no OpenAI-generated signals were found.

Note:
